Going, Going, Then Gone to the United Nations: Sign the International Museum of Women’s petition

Every Mother Counts Staff
September 18, 2012

We’re giving you little extra time, but it’s coming up on your last chance to sign the petition we’re running with our partner, the International Museum of Women that tells world leaders just how important maternal health is.  Here’s what it says:

I believe that all women have a right to safe pregnancy and birth. I ask my government to keep its commitment to the UN Goal to advance maternal health by 2015 - ensuring that all women have access to reproductive healthcare and reducing needless maternal deaths. I am joining a global movement working to advance maternal health for women worldwide.

Our original goal was 10,000 signatures and we’ve sailed past that.  Here’s your chance to use your voice and add your name. Your opportunity to be part of this important statement ends on September 20th so if you haven’t already signed, do it now and share it with your friends.  Every voice, every signature counts.

World wide movement for women...maternal health, safety, education, human rights--long overdue.

I am proud to be a mother and am extremely fortunate to be able to have access to resources to help maintain maternal health.

So important
